Electrical rating and tests :

- I.S.I. Approved, Phenol Formaldehyde (Electrical grade) which confirms
to grade 3 of IS 1300: 1966, type GX of BS 771: 1959 & type 31 of DIN is used
for the manufacture of contact top platess it imparts excellent Electrical
properties.
- Melamine Formaldehyde with Alpha Cellulose Filter is used for spacer the
grade used confirms to IS 3669: 1966 Type M of BS 1322 of 1975 and type 152.7
DIN 7708, it ensures very high insulation & anti-tracking properties.
- The cam-shafts are moulded from Nylon-6 for superior Structural rigidity.
- The contacts (20 SWG - 0.914 mm) are made of brass and nickle plated.
The screws are zinc passivated to prevent corrosion.
- The rollers are made from extruded brass rods to ensure that they do not
bend or shear during assembly or on operation.
- Inspection at all stages of manufacture ensures perfect fit and finish.
- The switches are exceptionally smooth in operation and hence have very
long life. (15,000 Cycles at Full load)
